OPSEUが代表するオンタリオ大学職員は,前項の調停に係る大学総会との合意に至らなかったため,土曜から法律的にストライキを開始している. Ontario's college faculty, represented by the OPSEU, are in a legal strike position starting Saturday, after failing to reach an agreement with the College Employer Council in previous mediations. 労働組合は雇用の確保と労働条件を心配しており 教授1万5千人を代表しています The union, worried about job security and working conditions, represents 15,000 faculty members. 審議会は,この組合の要求が理不尽であると主張するが,一部は国際学生登録の50%減少が原因である. The Council argues the union's demands are unreasonable given the financial strain on colleges, partly due to a 50% drop in international student enrollment. 1月6日と7日における調停で,両側とも再び合流する.
