1 月 18 日 に 一 人 の 男 の 人 が , キイワック の ヴェダー 川 の 近く で 静か に なる 前 に 助け を 叫び求める 声 が 聞こえ まし た。 On January 18, a man was heard shouting for help before going silent near the Vedder River in Chilliwack. 救急隊員が周辺を捜索したが、誰も見つからず、釣り竿2本とバス・プロ・ショップの緑色のトランク1個だけだった。 Emergency crews searched the area but found no one, only two fishing rods and a green Bass Pro Shop toque. 最初 は 溺死 の 可能 性 が ある と され て い た の で , その 人 は 後 に 警察 に 連絡 し て , 自分 は 安全 だ と 言い まし た。 Initially treated as a possible drowning, the man later contacted police to say he was safe.
