韓国軍は、北朝鮮が日曜日、今年初となる中距離弾道ミサイルとみられるミサイル発射実験を行ったと発表した。 The South Korean military reported that North Korea launched its first missile test of the year, a suspected intermediate-range ballistic missile, into the sea on Sunday. 韓国統合参謀本部は発射を探知し、朝鮮半島の平和と安定を危険にさらす明らかな挑発であると非難した。 The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea detected the launch and denounced it as an obvious provocation endangering peace and stability on the Korean peninsula. ミサイルは１０００キロ飛行し、日本と朝鮮半島の間の海域で停止したと推定されている。 It is estimated that the missile traveled 1,000 kilometers in flight before coming to rest in the waters between Japan and the Korean Peninsula.
