A 60-year-old woman was critically injured after being hit by a car on Nimitz Highway in Honolulu early this morning around 4:45 a.m. She was crossing the highway in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Valkenburgh Street. 現場に残って無傷の55歳のドライバーは,速やかに調査中であるが,アルコールや薬物が原因と認められていない. The 55-year-old driver, who remained at the scene and was uninjured, is being investigated for speeding, but alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors. 歩行 者 は 治療 の ため に 病院 へ 連れ て 行か れ まし た。 The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment.
