ケララ州首相ピナレイイ・ビジャヤンは,貧困層のための社会福祉年金を不正に支給する政府職員に対する厳重な措置を発表した. Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced strict measures against government employees fraudulently receiving social welfare pensions meant for the poor. 幹部を含め約1500人の従業員が違法に年金を請求していることが判明した. Around 1,500 employees, including high-ranking officials, were found to have claimed pensions illegally. 政府は懲戒措置を講じ,当該要求に利息を支給し,顔認証,年度の集計及び義務所得証明書を導入して,今後の不正行為を防ぐものとする. The government will take disciplinary action, demand repayment with interest, and introduce facial authentication, annual mustering, and mandatory income certificates to prevent future fraud.
