China's Colombo Port City project in Sri Lanka, part of the Belt and Road Initiative, has transformed a coastal area into a thriving underwater garden with corals and marine life. 3.7-km防波堤のユニークな流域構造により,サンゴの成長が促進され,海洋生態系が向上した. The 3.7-km breakwater's unique stepped structure has facilitated coral growth, improving the marine ecosystem. 2024年以降、このプロジェクトは68羽のサンゴの乳房と5000羽以上のサンゴの植物を加え、保全活動の組織化とともに、スリランカの海洋生物保護を目指す。 Since 2024, the project has added 68 coral nurseries and over 5,000 coral plants, along with organizing conservation activities, aiming to protect Sri Lanka's marine biodiversity.
