Liberia held its first National TVET Job Fair on November 27, aiming to connect job seekers with employers and promote collaboration between the private sector and technical vocational education institutions. EUとスウェーデンの支援を受け,この博覧会は,農業やICTなどの様々な部門を主催し,ワークショップ,キャリアガイド,起業家ショーケースを提供した. Organized by the UNIDO, with support from the EU and Sweden, the fair featured various sectors like agriculture and ICT, offering workshops, career guidance, and entrepreneurship showcases. クリスティン・ウムトーニ国連常駐コーディネーターは、TVETプログラムにおけるジェンダー・インクルージョンの重要性を強調し、このイベントが若者のスキルを業界のニーズに合わせることに成功したことを指摘しました。 UN Resident Coordinator Christine Umutoni highlighted the importance of gender inclusion in TVET programs, noting the event's success in aligning youth skills with industry needs.
