1月21日、ユージーン警察はベルトライン・ハイウェイを東に走行中のシボレー・シルバラードについて複数の通報を受けた。 On January 21st, the Eugene Police Department received multiple calls about a Chevy Silverado traveling east on Beltline Highway. 運転手のデロレス・マリー・ゴルスキーさんは道を譲らず、低速で運転を続けた。 The driver, Delores Marie Gorski, failed to yield and continued driving at low speeds. 警官らはグッドウィルの駐車場でトラックを発見し、止めようとしたが、ゴルスキさんは閉じ込められ、停止を余儀なくされた。 Officers found the truck in a Goodwill parking lot and attempted to stop it, but Gorski was boxed in and forced to stop.
