L&T Energy GreenTech, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has signed a long-term agreement with Japan's ITOCHU Corporation to supply 300,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually from a planned facility in Kandla, Gujarat. この協定は2025年の共同開発合意に続いて,シンガポールなどの国際ブンカーリングハブへの燃料供給を通じて海事セクターの脱炭素化努力を支援することを目的としています.
