インドの商業大臣ピユシュ・ゴヤル氏は,インドと英国の自由貿易協定が 7月に署名されてから30〜45日以内に発効すると発表した. India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal announced the India-UK Free Trade Agreement will take effect within 30 to 45 days after being signed in July. 合意はインド輸出の99%にゼロ関税を課し,自動車やウイスキーなどの英国商品に対する関税を下げます. The deal grants zero duties to 99% of Indian exports while reducing tariffs on British goods like cars and whisky. さらにインドは2026年5月1日より発効するオマンとの自由貿易協定に署名し,カナダ,チリ,ペルー,南アフリカと新たな経済交渉を開始した. Additionally, India signed an FTA with Oman effective May 1, 2026, and launched new economic talks with Canada, Chile, Peru, and South Africa.
