The BRACE project launched in Nukualofa, Tonga, on March 19, 2026, with an inception workshop marking the start of a five-year, $46.7 million effort to build climate-resilient schools. 緑の気候基金から資金提供され,教育のためのグローバルパートナーシップによって共同で支援されているこのイニシアチブは トンガ州の教育省とセーブ・ザ・チャイルドが主導し,カンボジア,南スーダン,トンガ全域にある100の遠隔地の学校と850の学校を対象としています. Led by Tonga’s Ministry of Education and Save the Children, the initiative, funded by the Green Climate Fund and co-financed by the Global Partnership for Education, targets 100 remote Tongan schools and 850 schools across Cambodia, South Sudan, and Tonga. サイクロン,洪水,海面上昇,干ばつ,熱波に対する教育システムを強化し,1万3000人を超える直接的恩恵を受け 800万人以上の間接的な支援を目的としています.
