Langston University celebrated its 129th anniversary with the inaugural Founders Week in downtown Tulsa, featuring a formal dinner, awards, live music, and a tribute to its 25th anniversary Rehabilitation Studies program and federally funded research centers. 校長 ルース・レイ・ジャクソンは オクラホマ州の歴史的に黒人教育機関として留学してきた遺産と オクラホマシティとタルサのキャンパスで機会を拡大する取り組みを強調した. President Ruth Ray Jackson highlighted the university’s legacy as Oklahoma’s historically Black institution and its commitment to expanding opportunities across its Oklahoma City and Tulsa campuses. このイベントは、これらの都道府県のキャンパスを応援する資金援助として機能し、アクセス・革新・学力の向上を目指すことを目指した事業であった。 The event served as a fundraiser to support these urban campuses, with proceeds aimed at sustaining access, innovation, and academic excellence.
