2026年3月9日〜10日,グワハティIITは,日本・北東学術産業協力シンポジウムを開催し,北東地域と日本国際学術研究コンソーシアムを結成する意向書が採択されました. On March 9–10, 2026, IIT Guwahati hosted the Japan-Northeast Academia Industry Cooperation Symposium, resulting in a Letter of Intent to form a North East Region-Japan International Academic and Research Consortium. 22の北東部のインド機関及び日本のギフ大学は,食品安全,医療,環境の安定,クリーンエネルギーなどの重要な世界的課題における連携を強化するための努力に加入した. Twenty-two Northeast Indian institutions and Gifu University in Japan joined the effort to strengthen collaboration in science, technology, medicine, and key global challenges like food security, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and clean energy. 2022年度の北東部インド戦略名称による日本との連携は,5年以上にわたりその地域間の5000人の学生の交換を促進する計画である. The partnership, supported by Japan’s 2022 strategic designation of Northeast India, plans to facilitate the exchange of 5,000 students between the regions over five years. 当局は,教育,研究及び社会発展の推進に関する取り組みを強調し,インドの施策の東東政策に適合し,内務省と日本との連携を強化した. Officials emphasized the initiative’s role in advancing education, research, and societal development, aligning with India’s Act East Policy and deepening Indo-Japanese ties.
