India and Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New Delhi on February 26, 2026, to boost cooperation in forests, wildlife, environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and climate change. インドの環境大臣ブペンダー・ヤドブとネパールの内閣大臣マドフ・プラサード・シャウルが署名した協定は,虎、象、サイ、ユキヒョウ、ヤマトイルカ、ハゲタカなどの重要な種の共同保存に重点を置くものとする. The agreement, signed by India’s Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and Nepal’s Cabinet Minister Madhav Prasad Chaulagain, focuses on joint conservation efforts for key species including tigers, elephants, rhinoceroses, snow leopards, Gangetic dolphins, and vultures. また,野生動物の廊下の復旧,保護区域管理の改善,違法な野生生物の犯罪との闘い,強制執行能力の強化,環境に配慮した地域における持続可能な環境基盤の整備を強調する.
