The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved a ₹1,067.35 crore, 3.33-kilometer extension of Ahmedabad’s North-South Metro corridor from GIFT City to Shahpur, adding three elevated stations. プロジェクトには4年かかり,中央政府とグジャラト州の合弁会社であるGMRCが実施し,アハマダバードとギフトシティのビジネスハブ間の接続性を高め,2029年までに毎日約23,702人の乗客に2041年までに58,059人の乗客にサービスを提供することを目指しています. The four-year project, implemented by the central and Gujarat government joint venture GMRC, aims to boost connectivity between Ahmedabad and the GIFT City business hub, serving about 23,702 passengers daily by 2029 and up to 58,059 by 2041. 約1000の建設業務と250の恒久的役割を生み出し,当該地域における通勤者,事業者,教育機関の支援が期待されている. It is expected to generate around 1,000 construction jobs and 250 permanent roles, supporting commuters, businesses, and educational institutions in the region.
