OMC Power has launched India’s first major initiative to repurpose used electric vehicle batteries, partnering with Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Honda will supply batteries from its EVs after three years of use for seven years, which OMC will integrate into home and business backup power systems and solar energy storage. このプロジェクトはUttarプラデーシュ州のハードイにある学校でテストされたが、OMCのUPS技術はマネッサール施設で利用されている。 The project, tested in a school in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, uses OMC’s UPS technology at its Manesar facility.
