オマンのマシラ島で海の監視プロジェクトが進行中です 2月から10月までの84キロの海岸線で オリブリドリーとロガーヘッドの巣作りを追跡しています A sea turtle monitoring project is underway on Masirah Island, Oman, tracking olive ridley and loggerhead turtle nesting from February to October across 84 kilometers of coastline. 2交代制で毎日の調査で巣、カメの足跡、死亡状況を記録し、夜間チームは産卵観察、タグ付け、現場保護を行います。 Daily surveys in two shifts document nests, turtle tracks, and mortalities, while night teams observe nesting, tag turtles, and protect sites. この取り組みはオマーン環境庁が率いるが,成功の度合いを評価し,絶滅危惧するカメの長期保存を支援することを目指している. The initiative, led by Oman’s Environment Authority, aims to assess hatching success and support long-term conservation of endangered sea turtle populations.
