SEBI has launched a one-year window from Feb. 5, 2026, to Feb. 4, 2027, allowing investors to dematerialize long-stalled physical securities due to past documentation issues. 2026年4月2日より,規制当局は確認書の必要性をなくし, 適正な精度調査後に,企業や登録者によるデマット口座への証券の直接クレジットを可能にします. Starting April 2, 2026, the regulator will eliminate the need for a Letter of Confirmation, enabling direct credit of securities to demat accounts by companies and registrars after due diligence. 処理時間を150日から約30日短縮し,効率を向上させ,文書の紛失や盗難のリスクを軽減し,資産への投資家のアクセスを向上させる. The change is expected to cut processing time from 150 to about 30 days, improving efficiency, reducing risks of lost or stolen documents, and enhancing investor access to assets. 2026年4月2日以前に発行された既存のLOCは有効です. Existing LOCs issued before April 2, 2026, remain valid.
