EUとアゼルバイジャンは、アゼルバイジャンのナクチバン・エクスクラーブをつなぐ鉄道との連携について,15日間の運航目標を欧州と中央アジアをつなぐことを目的とした運輸鉄道の整備について,有望な研究を行うことに合意した。 The EU and Azerbaijan have agreed to conduct a feasibility study for a railway linking Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan exclave, part of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor aimed at connecting Europe and Central Asia with a 15-day transit target. The project, supported by the EBRD and EU initiatives, seeks to boost regional connectivity, diversify trade routes, create jobs, and promote economic growth, especially in rural areas. また、EUのTEN-TネットワークにZangzurの廊下を包み込む可能性もある. Talks also included potential inclusion of the Zangezur corridor in the EU’s TEN-T network. 一方、ウズベキスタンとオーストリアは,鉄道,道路橋,直行便などの交通協力の拡大について議論している。 Meanwhile, Uzbekistan and Austria discussed expanding transport cooperation, including rail, road bridges, and direct flights, as trade between them rose 37.6% in 2025.
