India has become the first country to commercially produce bio-bitumen from agricultural waste like sugarcane bagasse and wheat straw using CSIR-developed pyrolysis technology, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced in Madhya Pradesh. 15の企業に認定されたこのイノベーションは,輸入された石油ベースの粘土を代用し,炭素排出量を70パーセント削減し,炭化水素の燃焼を軽減し,農村の所得の流れを新たに生み出すことを目的としている.
