BCP議会が主導する、ボスコムビーチの老朽化した7基の木製グロイン交換プロジェクトが2年間で開始されており、第1段階は2026年1月から3月にかけてボスコムビーチ東部の2基のグロイン交換が行われます。 Work has begun on a two-year project to replace seven aging timber groynes at Boscombe Beach, led by BCP Council, with the first phase replacing two groynes at Boscombe Beach East from January to March 2026. 2025年10月に発足されたこの取り組みは,長い海域の漂流を管理し,海岸の安定を保つことにより,海岸の侵食と闘うことを目的としている. The initiative, launched in October 2025, aims to combat coastal erosion by managing longshore drift and preserving beach stability. ボスコンブ・ピアの西にある残りの3つのは2026年の秋か冬に更新される. The remaining three groynes west of Boscombe Pier will be renewed in autumn or winter 2026. いったん完成すれば,ボーンマスの浜辺を横切る56本の木材グロイネスは,海岸を保全し,公共アクセスを維持する長期的沿岸管理戦略の一環として更新される. Once complete, all 56 timber groynes across Bournemouth’s beaches will be renewed as part of a long-term coastal management strategy to protect the shoreline and maintain public access.
