ガーナ議会は,道路・高速道路省が運営し,Accra Kumasi Expressway Limitedが開発する新しい6車線アクラ・クマシ高速道路の建設のための譲渡契約を承認しました. Ghana’s Parliament has approved a concession agreement for the construction of a new six-lane Accra–Kumasi Expressway, managed by the Ministry of Roads and Highways and developed by Accra–Kumasi Expressway Limited. この事業はガーナ・インフラ整備基金の資金提供により,現存する高速道路の現代的代替策を提供することで,首都と第2大都市の間の旅時間を改善し,かつ,旅時間を短縮することを目的としている.
