The funding, part of a new regional program, aims to strengthen ocean-based industries, improve waste management, and enhance climate adaptation. 人口の半数以上が海洋に依存しており、青い経済部門は170億円のGDPの3.8%を2024年に寄付した。 Over half the population relies on oceans for livelihoods, and blue economy sectors contributed $17.17 billion—3.8% of GDP—in 2024. この取り組みは,ADBが地域における初めての総合的な努力で,フランスとドイツが共同で最大2億5千万円を突破した. The initiative, the ADB’s first comprehensive effort in the region, is co-financed by France and Germany with up to €200 million each.
