今から2年目となるチャライチュングフェスティバルは 12月7日から10日まで インドのマジュリ島で開催され,アホム族の王 プラタップ・シンガが1633年に設立したアジア初の保護された王室の鳥居を復活させることを目的としています. The Charaichung Festival, now in its second year, is taking place on India’s Majuli island from December 7 to 10, aiming to revive Asia’s first protected royal bird sanctuary established in 1633 by Ahom king Pratap Singha. 地元住民とマジュリ・サホイタが組織したこのイベントは,この聖域の392年の歴史を強調し,ほぼ150種の鳥類の保全を促進し,観光を促進する. Organized by local residents and Majuli Sahitya, the event highlights the sanctuary’s 392-year history, promotes conservation of its nearly 150 bird species, and boosts tourism. 森林保全に関する特別展は,国際的関心を高め,そのサイトの生物多様性及び文化遺産の保全を公的・政府からの支援を要請する4日連続の祭りの一部である. A special exhibition on forest conservation is part of the four-day festival, which has drawn growing international interest and calls for public and government support to preserve the site’s biodiversity and cultural heritage. 音楽のアイコンであるズーベン・ガーグにも敬意を表した.
