Chinese companies, led by Shanghai Electric, are expanding combined-cycle power plants in Iraq’s Najaf, Karbala, Babylon, and Qadisiyah provinces, adding 625 megawatts of capacity by upgrading existing gas turbines. このプロジェクトは,中国の設計及び製造設備を全面的に活用し,効率を向上させ,燃料使用や汚染を軽減し,グリッドの信頼性を向上させる.
