A powerful G4 geomagnetic storm on November 11–12, 2025, caused the northern lights to appear unusually far south across U.S. states including Nebraska, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and the Carolinas. 太陽の11年連続のピークにおける太陽の強い活動に感銘を受け,球状質量放出と主なソーラーフレアによって地球の磁場が破壊され,小さな通信や航海の中断が生じた.
