On November 7, 2025, the 17th Chinese medical team in Botswana held a free health outreach at BIUST in Palapye, offering consultations, exams, acupuncture, and massage to about 120 people. このイベントは,BIUSTの副院長が支援したもので,中国とボツワナの強い関係と継続的な医療協力の兆候として見られた. The event, supported by BIUST’s vice chancellor, was seen as a sign of strong China-Botswana ties and ongoing medical cooperation. 1981 年 以来 , 中国 は 17 の 医療 チーム を ボツワナ に 派遣 し , 500 人 以上 の 専門 家 が ガボロン と フランシスタウン で 300 万 人 以上 の 患者 の 世話 を し て い ます。 Since 1981, China has sent 17 medical teams to Botswana, with over 500 professionals providing care to more than three million patients in Gaborone and Francistown.
