On November 8, 2025, Mother Eliswa Vakayil was beatified in Kerala, a major step toward sainthood recognized by Pope Francis after he approved a miracle attributed to her intercession. 1831年に生まれ,1866年に女性のためのインド初のカーメリート修道院を設立し,教育,社会奉仕,ラテン語とシリア語の教会の儀式との協力を促進する2つの教会を設立しました.
