土曜 日 の 早朝 , ハンプトン で 開か れ た「黄金 時代 の 避難 所」の 火災 で 70 人 以上 の 住民 と 2 人 の 職員 が 避難 し まし た。 A fire at the Golden Years Assisted Living Facility in Hampton early Saturday morning led to the evacuation of over 70 residents and two staff members. 消防 隊 は 午前 4 時 49 分 ごろ に 到着 し , 火 が 一つ の 部屋 に 閉じ込め られ て いる の を 見つけ , スプリンクラー の 働き の おかげ で 午前 5 時 10 分 まで に 消さ れ まし た。 Fire crews arrived around 4:49 a.m., found the blaze confined to one room, and extinguished it by 5:10 a.m. thanks to working sprinklers. 2人の居住者が無関係な理由により入院していたが,火災による傷害は起きなかった. No fire-related injuries occurred, though two residents were hospitalized for unrelated reasons. 建物の半分は安全とみなされるが,被災者は火災警報と抑制装置が修理されるまでは戻って来られない. Half the building is considered safe, but occupants cannot return until fire alarm and suppression systems are repaired. 火災の原因は調査中である. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
