The Taiwanese government has approved a NT$44.2 billion plan to expand its drone industry, aiming to make Taiwan a key hub for a "democratic drone supply chain" in Asia by 2030. この取り組みには,先住民のチップとソフトウェア開発のための資金、3年以上にわたり国内に10万機のドローンを調達し,アメリカ合衆国及び日本を含む8カ国との国際連携を図るための資金が含まれている.
