On September 9, 2025, ECOWAS’s Regional Competition Authority (ERCA) pledged support to Ghana’s efforts to establish a national Competition and Consumer Protection Law, during a meeting in Accra with Trade Minister Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare. 執行責任者シメオン・コナン・コフィ博士が率いるERCA代表団は,公正な競争を強化し,独占を防止し,消費者を保護するために地域協力を強調した.
