Toda Corporation, JTB Corp., and Fujitsu Limited have launched a pilot project in Echizen City, Japan, from November 2025 to January 2026, using NFTs to enhance international tourism. 観光 客 は , 和紙 や 陶器 の よう な 伝統 的 な 工芸 活動 に 参加 し , ムラサキキ ・ シキブ を 題材 に し た NFT を 制作 し ます。 Visitors participate in traditional craft activities like washi paper and pottery making, earning unique NFTs featuring Murasaki Shikibu as proof of participation. 割引やイベントアクセスなど、今後の給付金として、これらのNFTは償還することができる。 These NFTs can be redeemed for souvenirs or future benefits like discounts and event access. この取り組みは,日本国内の他の地域にモデルを拡張する計画で,ホクルキ・シンカンセン拡張区経由で地域活性化と観光アクセスの改善を図るものである。 The initiative supports regional revitalization and improved tourism access via the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension, with plans to expand the model to other Japanese regions.
