マニプール州出身の 1994 バッチの IAS 職員であるラジェシュ・アグラワル氏は、退職した職員スニル・バースワル氏の後任として商務省長官に正式に就任した。 Rajesh Agrawal, a 1994-batch IAS officer from Manipur, has officially assumed the role of Secretary in the Department of Commerce, succeeding retiring officer Sunil Barthwal. 30年以上の経験を持つアグラワルは,米国,オーストラリア,ASEANとの協定を含め,貿易交渉において主な取り組みを指揮し,農業輸出とMSMEの発展を促進する中心的役割を担った.
