エアテル・ビジネス社は,米国のSwift Navigationとの提携により,インド初のクラウドベースのAI駆動精密な位置付けサービスであるAirtel-Skylarkを立ち上げました. Airtel Business has launched India’s first cloud-based, AI-powered precise positioning service, Airtel-Skylark, in partnership with U.S. firm Swift Navigation. このサービスは,標準GPSの100倍の精度を提供しているが,このサービスはエアテルの4G/5Gネットワークとスウィフトの技術を利用して,自律自動車,緊急対応,精密な農業,スマートトランプなど重要なアプリケーションをサポートしている. Offering centimeter-level accuracy—up to 100 times more precise than standard GPS—the service uses Airtel’s 4G/5G network and Swift’s technology to support critical applications like autonomous vehicles, emergency response, precision farming, and smart tolling. 国立都道府県周辺の3万5千kmを超えて最初に利用されたロールアウトは,段階的に全国規模で拡大する. Initially available across a 35,000 km² area around the National Capital Region, the rollout will expand nationwide in phases. このサービスは2025年10月8日〜11日のインドモバイル会議でデビューします. The service debuts at the India Mobile Congress from October 8–11, 2025.
