On September 20, 2025, Bihar Tourism and India’s Inland Waterways Authority signed an MoU in Bhavnagar to launch a Rs 908 crore Water Metro in Patna, introducing hybrid electric catamarans like the MV Nishadraj for eco-friendly urban transit. サービスは、ディグハ・ガートからカンカン・ガートまで、NITとゲイ・ガーツで停車し、車椅子やエアコンを備えた乗車人100人まで乗車する。 The service will run from Digha Ghat to Kangan Ghat, stopping at NIT and Gay Ghats, carrying up to 100 passengers with wheelchair access and air conditioning. このプロジェクトは,混雑や汚染の軽減を目的として,18都市における水道運送の推進を図るとともに,裁判の実施が計画され,今後はさらに10の区分が展開される予定である.
