9月6日、シンガポールのタンジョンパガー沖で、おそらくロークアル科のものと思われる長さ6.3メートルのヒゲクジラの死骸が発見された。 A 6.3-meter-long baleen whale carcass, likely from the Rorqual family, was found off Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, on September 6. 死 の 原因 は 分かっ て おら ず , 6 トン と 推定 さ れ て い た クジラ は 劣化 の 進ん だ 状態 に あり まし た。 The cause of death is unknown, and the whale, estimated at six tonnes, was in advanced decomposition. 博物 館 の 職員 や シンガポール ・ サルバージュ 技術 者 に よっ て 復元 さ れ た この 建物 は , 調査 の ため に 制限 さ れ た 場所 に 保管 さ れ て い まし た。 Recovered by museum staff and Singapore Salvage Engineers, it was secured at a restricted site for research. 2015年以降のNUS Lee Kong Chian 自然史博物館による捕鯨死骸の研究は,これが初めてのものである.
