Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a Rs 1,010 crore city gas distribution project in West Bengal's Alipurduar and Cooch Behar districts. このプロジェクトは,パイプで天然ガスを25万人以上の家庭と100の商業施設に供給し,また19のCNGステーションを設置することを目指しています. The project aims to provide piped natural gas to over 2.5 lakh households and 100 commercial establishments, along with setting up 19 CNG stations. この取り組みは,政府の最低賃金労働プログラムの目標に適合し,雇用機会を生ずるとともに,信頼できる,コスト効率の良い,環境に優しい燃料供給の提供を目的としている.
