SPREPにより組織され,4月14日から17日にかけて開催される シンポジウムでは,海鳥を保護するための伝統的な知識と西洋科学を結びつけることを目指している. Organized by SPREP, the symposium from April 14-17 aims to combine Western science with traditional knowledge to protect seabirds. 100人以上の参加者が、伝統的な知識や保全の努力の向上、海鳥への脅威といった話題に取り組み、多くの種の絶滅危惧種がある太平洋地域における保護の重要な必要性を強調する。 Over 100 participants, including keynote speakers, will address topics like traditional knowledge, improving conservation efforts, and threats to seabirds, highlighting the critical need for protection in the Pacific region where many species are at risk.
