南太平洋大学 (USP) とニューサウスウェールズ大学 (UNSW) は、フィジーにおけるマングローブの回復と気候の回復に重点を置く研究プロジェクトHaloを開始しました。 The University of the South Pacific (USP) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) have launched Project Halo, a research initiative focusing on mangrove restoration and climate resilience in Fiji. 4 人の博士課程学者は,沿岸の劣化に関する自然基礎的解決方法を開発し,環境及び社会の福祉を計り,地域社会に力を与えるよう努める. Four PhD scholars will work on developing nature-based solutions to coastal degradation, measuring environmental and societal benefits, and empowering local communities. このプロジェクトは、スワイヤーケーブル,フィジー政府,ユネスコ,太平洋コミュニティの資金援助を受けて行われる. The project is funded by Swire Shipping, the Fijian Government, UNESCO, and the Pacific Community.
