The Nigerian Senate will receive the 2025 budget report, revised to ₦54.2 trillion, from the Committee on Appropriations on Wednesday or Thursday, according to Senate President Godswill Akpabio. 当初の予算案は449.7兆円だったが,ボラ・タヌブ大統領が増額した. The initial budget proposal was ₦49.7 trillion but was increased by President Bola Tinubu. また,上院は,連邦医療センター法改正案及びアクワ・イボム県アベバ県の新連邦農業大学を設立する法案を含む,第一項の読み手に関する請求書を何通か提出した. The Senate also passed several bills for first reading, including amendments to the Federal Medical Centres Act and a bill to establish a new Federal University of Agriculture in Abak, Akwa Ibom.
