The National Park Service will close Laurel Falls Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park starting January 6, 2025, for 18 months for rehabilitation. このプロジェクトは,新たな観覧用プラットフォームの整備,追跡・展開,新しい標識と教育パネルの設置,さらに50の駐車スペースの増設などにより,安全と訪問体験の強化を目的としている. The project aims to enhance safety and visitor experience by constructing new viewing platforms, repaving and widening the trail, installing new signs and educational panels, and adding 50 new parking spaces. 2026年6月に再開される The trail will reopen in June 2026.
