氷点解凍によって引き起こされたルーカウト山の岩崩れにより,12月7日に山火事が起こり,ルーカウト山斜線鉄道が損傷した. A rockslide on Lookout Mountain, triggered by freeze/thaw action, caused a wildfire on December 7, damaging the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway. 滑り台 から 出 た 大きな 石 が 樹木 や 他 の 岩 に 当たり , 火花 や 熱 を 生じ させ て 火 を 燃え上がら せ まし た。 Large boulders from the slide struck trees and other boulders, causing sparks and heat that ignited the fire. 1 本 の 木 が 送電 線 に 当たっ た と し て も , 岩盤 は 原因 と 考え られ て い ます。 Though a tree hit a power line, the rockslide is considered the probable cause. 鉄道 は 何 か月 に も わたっ て 修理 さ れ , 山 の 美しい 景色 は 今 で も 閉鎖 さ れ て い ます。 The railway faces months of repair, and the Mountain Beautiful Trail remains closed.
