インド空軍（IAF）は、南カシミール州ビジベハラで緊急着陸帯の試験運用を行うため、ジャンム・スリナガル国道の交通を一時停止した。 The Indian Air Force (IAF) has suspended traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway to conduct a trial run of an emergency landing strip in Bijbehara, South Kashmir. 昨年完成した全長3.5キロメートルのこの施設は、戦争や自然災害などで大量の物資動員が必要な場合に戦闘機やその他の航空機が利用できる。 The 3.5-kilometre facility, completed last year, can be used by fighter planes and other aircraft in cases of war or natural disasters requiring mass mobilization of resources. 試験運用にはスホーイ戦闘機とテジャス軽戦闘機が参加する予定で、夜間に実施される。 The trial run is expected to involve Sukhoi fighter jets and Tejas light combat aircraft and will take place at night.
